Dear new Audience Product Owner,
Thank you for your purchase of the ClairAudient 1+1 loudspeakers. The 1+1 loudspeakers are truly
the most unique monitor loudspeakers in the world and should provide you with many years of listen-
ing pleasure.
The 1+1 loudspeakers are highly suited for conventional two channel stereo systems as well as for
small to medium home theater systems. The 1+1 will perform superbly with any number of quality
amplifiers. Whether it’s a tube amp, a class A, AB or Class D amp, the 1+1 will deliver the music in a
clean an uncompressed fashion.
For optimum sweet spot results, the speakers should be aimed directly at or just behind the primary
listening position. However, to provide an extra wide “sweet space” for multiple listeners turn in the
1+1 at a 45 degree, such that the apex crosses in front of the listening position as shown to the right.
Pairing the 1+1 with a quality subwoofer, is recommended for playback in larger rooms and with
home theater systems for the full affect of dynamic movie sound tracks. However, for a great many
environments, the 1+1 will be found entirely suitable without the addition of a sub-woofer. There are a
number of excellent subwoofers on the market. If you would like a recommendation, please feel free to
call us.
The 1+1 loudspeakers will go through a break in period. Initially listening might yield some “tightness”
to the sound. However, after 20 - 50 hours of playing this tendency begins to disappear and continue
to blossom up to 100 hours of playing.
