Epson Mobilink TM-P60 Setup
Please refer to the Epson Mobilink or the TMNET WinConfig Technical Reference Guide for specific
installation instructions. The following instructions below should be considered as a trouble shooting
guide to aid in the setup of the Epson Mobilink TM-P60 Wireless printer.
Tools
Use the following tools to setup the TM-P60 printer parameters.
TMNet WinConfig Ver.3.20- used to configure printers
Memory Switch Setting Utility- to configure power off setting
Both items may be downloaded at https://www.epsonexpert.com.
Network Setup for Printer
1. Install TMNet Wincinfig software
2. Determine the default IP address and SSID for the TM 60 Unit. Use the following steps to
determine factory settings:
a. Turn on the printer’s power.
b. Open the peeler cover by using the roll paper cover open button.
c. Press the FEED button until the printer beeps (about 2 seconds).
d. Close the peeler cover.
e. The printer prints the current LAN setting (Status sheet).
3. Change the Access Point settings to match the SSID setting on the Epson TM-60 unit
4. Disable WPA2
5. Change the Access Points settings to a address within the printers range (example: if printers IP
address is 192.168.192.168, change the Access Point IP address to 192.168.192.169).
6. Change the computer (used to access AP) IP address to the same IP range (ex: 192.168.192.170)
7. Ping the printer to verify connection
8. Use the Epson’s TMNet WinConfig utility program to configure printers to specific network
settings (change from factory default). Reboot printers to affect changes.
9. Change Access Point configuration back to settings prior to steps 3-5:
a. SSID
b. IP
c. WPA2
10. Add the Epson IP and MAC addresses to the Access Points client list.
11. Change computer (used to access AP) IP address back to setting before step 6.
