Why AIT Turbo?
The AIT-2 Turbo drives provide higher performance,
higher capacity and higher reliability than DAT72 drives.
Turbos are the fastest in their class. With a native
transfer rate of 43.2GB/hour, they complete a full 80GB
backup in under two hours - faster than DAT72 or DLT
VS160.
Because they’re part of the proven AIT family, Turbo
has all the great qualities you’d expect: things like
assured compatibility with major vendor servers, and
with previous AIT generations.
With 300,000 hours Mean Time Between Failures
(MTBF) at 100% duty cycle, AIT Turbo drives are more
reliable than LTO, DLT VS and DAT. You won’t find a
more reliable drive in its class.
The drives are available as internal SATA, USB 2.0,
ATAPI or SCSI and external SCSI, USB 2.0 or IEEE1394
versions.
