Thank you for purchasing the Rechargeable 150,000,000 Candle Spotlight
by Wagan Tech. With normal care and proper treatment it will provide
years of reliable service. Please read all operating instructions carefully
before use.
CHARGING THE INTERNAL BATTERY:
1. The internal battery will need an initial charge of approximately 12
hours before first use
2. The internal battery should only be charged with one of the
accessories provided
3. The on/off button must be in the OFF position whilst charging.
4. Avoid charging the internal battery at temperatures below 4°C or
above 40°C
5. The spotlight should be kept fully charged when not in use. If it is
stored then it should be recharged every 6-8 weeks. Always ensure
that the switch is in the OFF position when it is not in use
6. If the charge is very low the battery will take approximately 12
hours to reach maximum capacity when using the supplied mains
adapter. However, a 4 hour charge will provide a useable amount
of charge
7. The battery will also charge from the 12 volt cigarette lighter
socket of your vehicle using the lead provided. It is recommended
that it is not left in this mode of charging for longer than 3 hours.
Charging should be done with the engine running to prevent
running down the charge on your vehicles’ battery
8. There is no indication that the battery is charging or is fully
charged
9. Do not charge continuously for a period longer than 24 hours
10. It is advisable to recharge the spotlight after each use
11. The battery charge does not have to be fully depleted before
recharging
12. The lifespan of the internal battery is dependent on how it is
treated; the more it is used the longer it should last. It is not
possible to predict how long the battery will last but approximately
40 charge and discharge cycles should be expected from a well
maintained battery
