IMPORTANT: BEFORE OPERATING the DELL™ POWERVAULT™ 114T
This unit has preventive measures built in to the power button on the front panel to eliminate the
possibility of inadvertent power cycling of the device..
To power up the unit, follow these steps:
1. Press and HOLD the power button on the front panel for one second.
2. The front panel LEDs come on, indicating the unit has powered on properly.
To power down the unit, follow these steps:
1. Press and HOLD the power button on the front panel for approximately five
seconds.
2. When the LEDs on the front panel go off, the unit has powered down.
