4 Important Information
LT03FH library drives with the firmware version (6AB1) cannot have
their firmware updated via the unit RMU interface.
To upgrade a LT03FH drive starting with firmware version 6AB1, use the
ITDT tool provided with the firmware upgrade package.
Erroneous grayed-out number is displayed in the No Cycles field when
executing diagnostics.
The TL2000/TL4000 shows the number of executed cycles performed
during the diagnostics cycle. On starting the diagnostics testing, a grayed-
out number is displayed in the
Cycle Count
window. The cycle count is
displayed only when the first full diagnostics cycle is complete.
Encryption configuration missing data.
The library-managed encryption setup is not able to determine which port
needs to be used for configuration. The library-managed encryption
configuration requires an IP address and the TCP port to access the
Encryption Key Manager (EKM) server. This information can be located in
the Health Monitor page of the EKM GUI.
By default, the EKM server is not configured to start as an operating
system service.
By default, the EKM server does not start automatically when the host is
rebooted. The user must configure this feature. For more information, see
the
Dell PowerVault Encryption Key Manager User's Guide
available on the
Dell Support website at
support.dell.com
.
A false LME failure is displayed if the library is licensed for library-
managed encryption (LME) and the user changes the configuration to
application-managed encryption (AME).
When a TL2000/TL4000 system is configured for library-managed
encryption and the user changes the library configuration to application-
managed encryption, the library posts a false
LME Failure
if the IP
address field is cleared (set to 0.0.0.0). This field is not required when the
library is configured for AME.
A
No resources selected
message is displayed when a user
attempts to perform a media move via the Remote Management Unit
(RMU) and the backup application has a Prevent Allow in the device.
