WARNING
Do not listen with the headphones while driving or cycling. Also avoid
using them where hearing must not be impaired, like at a railroad crossing and
a site of construction. Reduced ability to hear surrounding sound increases the
risk of an accident.
CAUTION
Cautions against hearing damage
Avoid continuous headphones-use at high volume. It may cause hearing loss. x
Check the volume of the device to be connected before connecting the x
headphones.
For your safety
In case the headphones irritate your skin, stop use immediately. x
Keep the headphones and supplied ear pads out of the reach of children. There is x
danger that small children might swallow them.
Securely attach the ear pads to the headphones. If the ear pads are detached from x
the headphones and stuck in your ears, they may cause injury or illness.
How to use the headphones
Using headphones1
Wear the headphone with the L mark in your left ear, and the one with the R
mark in your right ear.
Using the ear pads2
Using the ear pads is recommended. 3 sizes of ear pads are supplied. The
middle size ear pads are attached to the headphones on purchase. Use the most
suitable size.
Using the Smart Cable Holder 3 (EPH-50/EPH-C500/YER-500)
When not using the headphones, slide the Smart Cable Holder for
tangleprevention fully upward. Furthermore, insert the plug in the Smart
Cable Holder to avoid the whole cable becoming tangled.
Notes on use
Refer also to the manuals supplied with the devices to be connected. x
Do not disassemble the headphones. Do not use headphones that are x
malfunctioning.
Clean the headphones with a soft dry cloth. Do not leave the plug dirty otherwise x
the sound may be distorted.
Do not expose the headphones to direct sunlight, dirt, heat or moisture. x
Your ears may tingle in geographical locations where the air is very dry. This is not x
a malfunction of the headphones, but is caused by static electricity on your body
or a connected device.
If the ear pads are not securely positioned on your ears, you may not hear the bass x
range clearly. To enjoy better sound quality, adjust the ear pads so they will fit
your ears perfectly. For example, you might replace poor-fitting pads with pads of
an appropriate size.
Etiquette
Do not use the headphones at excessively high volume in public. Noise leaks
from the headphones.
