Thank You for purchasing a Jiffy Ice Drill. When properly maintained
and serviced, we are confident your drill will provide you with many
years of trustworthy performance. This manual contains operating
and safety instructions for the Jiffy Series Power Ice Drill. To receive
the greatest possible performance and satisfaction from your Jiffy
Power Ice Drill, and to reduce the risk of injury, it is important that
you read and understand the assembly, operating, maintenance, and
safety instructions before using your Jiffy Power Ice Drill. Contact
Feldmann Engineering if you do not understand any of the
instructions in this manual.
As with any power tool, safety precautions must be observed with
the Jiffy Power Ice Drill to reduce the risk of personal injury.
Careless or improper use may cause serious injury and/or damage

Power Ice Drill to be made of first quality materials and workmanship
and will, at its option, repair or replace any drill part thereof found to
be defective in such materials and workmanship if returned to the
factory, prepaid within two years from the date of purchase by the
original purchaser. Inbound and outbound transportation charges
are paid by the purchaser. To obtain warranty service or
replacement instructions, please go to www.jiffyonice.com to
find your nearest Jiffy Service center. Feldmann Engineering
assumes no responsibility for damage caused by misuse, careless
handling, or where repairs were made or attempted by an

Your Jiffy PRO4 Lite™ Drill uses a propane-fueled 4-stroke
engine:
OIL MUST BE ADDED to engine before ice drill is used for the
first time and must be checked regularly after that (see page 4).
Propane tank (sold separately) must be attached to engine and
connected to fuel-line before starting engine (see page 4).
The Jiffy® 4-Stroke Engine on the Pro4 Lite™ Power Ice Drill is
an all position engine, meaning it can be laid on any side, but
not upside-down. When storing the unit for long periods of
time, it is recommended to set the PRO4 Lite™ down with the
spark plug facing upward, the carburetor facing upward or in
the upright (operating) position. Oil can migrate over time,
which may result in some oil leakage. Note: Check the oil level
before each use.
