BREWING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Brewer should be ON (Conrm at rear toggle switch, then press ON/OFF button). Ready to Brew on screen.
2. Open the lid on an empty airpot and place it on the brew deck. Be careful to center it under the brewcone.
3. Place a new lter into the brewcone.

connect this brewer to hot
water. The inlet valve is
not rated for hot water.
CAUTION: Please use
this setup procedure
before attempting to use
this brewer. Failure to follow the
instructions can result in injury or the
voiding of the warranty.

6. Press the
BREW
button
to start
brewing.

brewcone
into brew
rails.

dropwhenrstbrewing
coffee into the airpot,
preheat the airpot with hot water.
3. Connect the unit to electrical outlet with appropriate amperage rating (see serial tag on machine).
4.Oncepowerhasbeensuppliedtotheunit,ipthetoggleswitchtothe‘ON’position(locatedontherearoftheunit),thewatertankwill
begintoll.Whenthewaterlevelinthetankreachestheprobe,theheatingelement(s)willturnon.
5.Waterintheheatingtankwillrequireapproximatelyahalfhourbeforereachingoperatingtemperature(factorysettingof200°F).Where
applicable,turnontheUniversalControlModule(UCM).Whentheunitreachesoperatingtemperature,itwilldisplay“READYTOBREW”..

Following are the Factory Settings for Curtis airpot brewers:
•BrewTemperature=200°F
•BrewVolume=Settovesselrequirements(75oz).
SystemRequirements:
•WaterSource20–90PSI(minimumowrateof1GPM)
•Electrical:Seeattachedschematicforstandardmodelorvisitwww.wilburcurtis.comforyourmodel.
SETUPSTEPS
1. Theunitshouldbelevel(lefttoright-fronttoback),onasecuresurface.
2. Connectthewaterlinetothewaterinletttingontherearoftheunit.Watervolumeowtothemachineshouldbeconsistent.Use
tubingsizedsufcientlytoprovideaminimumowrateof1GPM.
NOTE:Awaterltrationsystemmustbeusedtohelpmaintaintrouble-freeoperation.Inareaswithextremelyhardwater,wehighly
recommendtheuseofaCurtisapprovedwaterlter.Forourfulllineoflters,pleaselogontowww.wilburcurtis.com.Awaterltra-
tionsystemwillgreatlyprolongthelifeoftheunitandenhancethequalityandtasteoftheproduct.
NSFInternationalrequiresthefollowingwaterconnection:
1. A quick disconnect or additional coiled tubing (at least 2x the depth of the unit) is required so that the unit can be moved
for cleaning.
2. Thisunitmustbeinstalledwithadequatebackowprotectiontocomplywithapplicablefederal,stateandlocalcodes.
3. Waterpipeconnectionsandxturesdirectlyconnectedtoaportablewatersupplyshallbesized,installedandmain-
tainedinaccordancewithfederal,state,andlocalcodes.
