Adapter
Choose the adapter for your region.
A.
Extend the power supply prongs.
B.
If needed, snap on the adapter for your region.
C.
To remove an adapter, press back on the release and lift the adapter up and off.
Connecting to AC power
Choose A. or B. to connect to power.
A.
Plug the DC power cord on the power supply into the DC connector on the charging cradle.
Place the speaker on top of the cradle, so the pin connectors line up.
Important! Do not force the speaker into the cradle.
B.
Plug the DC power cord on the power supply into the DC connector on the speaker.
Plug the power supply into a live AC (mains) outlet.
The speaker emits a tone to conrm connection to AC power.
Battery
Charging
Recommended charging time is three hours to fully charge the battery. You can use the speaker
while charging the battery.
Blinking yellow Battery charging
Solid green Charging cycle done
Note: Battery performance varies with the content played and loudness at which it is played.
In typical usage, the speaker battery lasts up to seven hours.
Protection mode
If the speaker is unplugged and unused for more than 24 days, or if the speaker is stored with
a blinking red status indicator, it enters battery protection mode to preserve battery power.
To reactivate the speaker, connect it to AC power.
Replacing
The battery should be replaced when:
•
The battery status indicator remains yellow after ten hours of charging.
•
The period of battery operation noticeably decreases.
Only use Bose authorized replacement batteries, contact the Bose organization in your
country/region.
Control buttons/Status Indicators
The control buttons are located on the top of the speaker.
The status indicators are located above the control buttons, which illuminate to indicate when a
source is activated.
Indicates the charging state (shown above) or the battery power level:
Green - full charge Yellow - medium charge Flashing Red - charge is needed
Press to turn the speaker on or off.
Press and hold to check the
battery charge state (when operating on battery power).
The indicator blinks to indicate that the sound is muted.
Press to mute/unmute sound from the speaker.
Indicates the speaker state when the Bluetooth source is selected:
Blue blinking – Discoverable – Ready for a device to pair to speaker, or if already
paired,
reconnect.
White blinking – Connecting – Speaker attempting to connect to a paired device.
White solid – Connected – Speaker connected to paired device.
Press to select the Bluetooth source.
Once one device has been paired (see Pairing Bluetooth devices below), repeated
ly
pressing the Bluetooth button will switch between
Connecting and Discoverable.
If unable to connect within ve minutes, the speaker turns itself off.
AUX is the selected source.
Press to select the AUX source.
Note: The connector on the bottom of the speaker is for software updates only and does not play
audio from any connected device.
Pairing and connecting Bluetooth
®
devices
To pair with a Bluetooth device:
1.
With your Bluetooth
device and the speaker both turned on, press the Bluetooth button
on
the speaker to make the speaker discoverable (indicator blinks blue).
2. Set your Bluetooth device to discoverable so it can discover (detect) the speaker. Locate the
Bluetooth device/pairing list in the user interface of your device.
3. From the Bluetooth device list, select the device named “Bose Mini SoundLink.”
4. If your Bluetooth device prompts you for a passcode, enter digits 0000 (four zeros) and press
OK. Some devices also ask you to accept the connection.
The speaker indicates pairing is complete when the Bluetooth indicator changes from blinking blue
to solid white and the speaker emits a tone.
Note: If the speaker turns off after ve minutes, it has not discovered your Bluetooth device.
Clearing memory
To clear the speaker memory of all devices, press and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker
(about 10 seconds) until you hear a tone.

discoverable.
Using the AUX connector
A stereo audio cable with 3.5 mm plugs on each end is required to connect the audio output
of your device to the AUX input on the speaker. This type of cable is available for purchase at
electronics stores.
Adjust the volume on the connected device to near maximum, then use the Bose
®
speaker volume
buttons to adjust the volume level.
Tips on placing the speaker
When using your Bose
®
speaker indoors, the tonal quality can vary depending on where the
speaker is placed in a room.
When using your speaker outdoors, you should expect the tonal quality to change as you move
farther away from the speaker.
Keep the following guidelines in mind when placing your speaker:
•
For optimal sound, the front of the speaker (Bose logo on grill) should face the user.
•
For best bass response, the back of the speaker should be a few inches from a vertical surface.
•
Do not place the speaker in small areas that are enclosed on all sides except the front, as this
will adversely affect sound quality.
•
Do not place the speaker on wet or dirty surfaces
•
Place the speaker only on its rubber base. Standing the speaker on any side other than its rubber
base can cause damage to the speaker and adversely affect sound quality.

Speaker will not turn on
• If operating on AC power, ensure your speaker is connected to a working AC (mains) by the
Bose AC power supply included with your speaker.
•
If operating on battery power, the battery may be in protection mode or discharged. Connect to a
working AC outlet to restore the battery to operational mode.
Cannot pair and connect the speaker with my Bluetooth
device
•
Ensure your speaker is discoverable (Bluetooth status indicator blinks blue).
•
Ensure Bluetooth is activated on your device, you have selected “Bose Mini SoundLink” in the
Bluetooth device list, and the connection has been conrmed by your device.
•
Your Bluetooth
device may be out of range. Try moving it closer to the speaker.
• If possible, turn off all other nearby Bluetooth devices or disable their Bluetooth functionality.
•
Refer to the owner’s guide, help system, or technical support for your Bluetooth device to learn
how it pairs with other Bluetooth
devices.
• Turn the speaker off and back on, and pair your device and speaker.
•
Check for updated software for your Bluetooth device, or go to owners.Bose.com for updates to
the SoundLink
®
Bluetooth
®
speaker III.
Paired Bluetooth device will not connect to the speaker
• Ensure the speaker is in connecting mode (Bluetooth status indicator blinks white).
•
Ensure Bluetooth
is enabled on your device.
• Your device may be out of range. Try moving it closer to the speaker.
•
Turn the device off and back on, and connect it to the speaker.
•
If possible, turn off all other nearby Bluetooth devices or disable their Bluetooth functionality.
•
Clear the speaker memory. Pair and connect the device to the speaker again.
•
Reset the speaker. Press and hold Mute on the speaker for ten seconds until all status indicators
briey illuminate and the speaker turns off. Turn the speaker on again, and connect your device.
The speaker indicates a connection, but is not playing music
• Ensure the device you want to hear is connected to the speaker and playing audio.
•
Ensure the speaker is not muted and the speaker volume is turned up.
•
Turn up the volume on your device.
•
Your device may be out of range. Try moving it closer to the speaker.
•
Move your device away from any device that generates electromagnetic interference, such as
another Bluetooth device, cordless phone, microwave oven, or wireless router.
•
Turn off or disable Bluetooth functionality on all other nearby paired devices (including Bose
®
preferred devices) and reconnect the device you want to hear.
•
Turn the speaker off and back on.
•
Reset the speaker. Press and hold Mute on the speaker for ten seconds until all status indicators
briey illuminate and the speaker turns off. Turn the speaker on again, and connect your device.
Cleaning
To clean the exterior surface of your product, you can wipe it using a soft, dry cloth.
•
Do not use solvents, chemicals, or sprays.
•
Do not allow liquids to spill or objects to drop into any openings.

关于放置扬声器的提示
在室内使用 Bose
®
扬声器时，扬声器放在房间里不同的位置，音质也相应会有
变化。
在室外使用扬声器时，随着您和扬声器之间距离的增加音质出现变化是正常现象。
放置扬声器时，请记住下面的原则：
• 要获得最佳音质，扬声器的正面（栅格上的 Bose 徽标）应面向用户。
• 要获得最佳低音响应，扬声器的背面应离开垂直表面几英寸。
• 不要将扬声器放在只有前面开敞而其余各面封闭的狭小区域内，这会对音质造成
不利影响。
• 不要将扬声器放在
潮湿或脏的表面上
• 只
能将扬声器放在其橡胶底座上。采用除橡胶底座之外的任何一侧放置扬声器都
会损坏扬声器，并对音质产生负面影响。

選擇您所在地區的適配器。
A. 展開電源插腳。

接通交流電源
選擇 A. 或 B. 接通電源。
A. 將電源上的直流電源線插入充電座上的直流連接器中。
將揚聲器放在充電座的頂部，以便插頭連接器對齊。
重要提示！
請勿將揚聲器強行放入充電座。

電池
充電
建議充電時間為三小時，以完全充滿電池。電池充電時仍可使用揚聲器。

備註： 電池效能隨播放內容和音量而變化。正常使用時，揚聲器電池電量最長可
持續 7 小時。
保護模式
如果揚聲器未通電且未使用時間超過 24 天，或在存放時紅色狀態指示燈閃爍，該
揚聲器將進入電池保護模式以保護電池電源。要重新啟動揚聲器，請將它連接到
交流電源。
更換
當出現以下情況時需更換電池：
• 電池狀態指示燈在充電十小時後仍然保持黃色。
• 電池工作時間明顯縮短。
只能使用 Bose 授權的更換電池，請聯絡您所在國家 / 地區的 Bose 公司
控制按鈕 / 狀態指示燈
控制按鈕位於揚聲器頂部。
位於控制按鈕上面的狀態指示燈可指示音源是否啟動。
表示充電狀態（如上所示）或電池電量水準：
